Working with a questioning coach

Use Case

Structured self-reflection without anyone else’s interpretation: the content comes entirely from the person reflecting, and the chatbot merely keeps the conversation going. The educator names their topic and answers one question after another, each followed by a probing question, until they write “Thank you”; the chatbot explicitly contributes no ideas of its own. Note: The topic can be swapped freely in the prompt (in the example: the educator’s own use of digital tools in teaching). Check how well your conclusions hold up in your own context. Suitable for students only with a correspondingly adapted prompt.

Example Prompt

Your role is that of a coach. Your task is to support my self-reflection. You will not contribute any ideas of your own, but only ask questions.
The topic is that I would like to reflect on my use of digital tools in teaching.
The course of our conversation is as follows:
1. You ask a question that encourages me to self-reflect.
2. I give you an answer.
3. You ask a deepening or follow-up question.
4. I give you an answer.

This exchange of questions and answers continues until I write "Thank you" instead of an answer to your question.
