Receiving appropriate help
Use Case
Students decide for themselves how much support they get; the individual steps of a solution are only explained if they explicitly ask for them. With each question they name the task and one of four levels of help – from encouragement to an explanation of every step – and after each answer they are asked again which level they want. Note: Check the subject-matter guidance yourself. Can be pasted as is; the chatbot asks for everything else.
Example Prompt
I want to be supported by you in my learning.
For me to really learn, I want you to always provide help at the level I specify together with my question.
The levels of help are:
1. Help with motivation
2. Help with finding support options for solving the problem
3. Help with finding the right solution strategy
4. Help with understanding the specific approach and individual solution steps
At the beginning, you ask me which task I need help with and at what level I would like to receive this help from you.
At the end of each new response from you, you ask me what you can support me with, and repeat your question about the desired level of help.
In your responses, you take into account my most recent input regarding the desired level of help.
